This agreement governs the use of our platform for the secure storage and management of sensitive corporate data. Please read the terms carefully before using the service.
SecurDocs provides a cloud-based infrastructure for the encryption, classification, and archiving of business documents. Access is granted through role-based permissions configured by the client themselves. The platform does not include consulting services for internal data organization; these can be commissioned separately.
The client is responsible for the legality of the uploaded content as well as for the correct assignment of access rights. They must ensure that all user accounts correspond to actual individuals and that access credentials are treated confidentially. Changes to permission structures must be updated in the system without delay.
We guarantee an average availability of 99.5 percent per calendar year. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced via the dashboard at least 48 hours in advance. We assume no liability for unplanned outages caused by force majeure, cyberattacks, or maintenance work on third-party networks.
Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss is limited to the amount the client has paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the damaging event. Further liability exists only in cases of intent, gross negligence, or breach of essential contractual obligations.
The contract initially runs for twelve months and automatically renews for another twelve months unless terminated in writing six weeks before the end of the term. After termination, SecurDocs makes the exported documents available for download for 30 days. Thereafter, all data is permanently deleted.
We adjust these terms when legal requirements or the scope of services change. We will notify you of material changes by email at least four weeks before they take effect. If the client does not object within this period, the new terms are deemed accepted.
